Followbase is an unofficial third-party tool that monitors your Instagram account for follower changes. To provide this service, we use automated browser technology to access Instagram on your behalf.

• Your Instagram credentials are used to log into Instagram through our server
• Your account session remains active on our server to enable continuous monitoring
• Our system accesses your follower list, following list, profile information, and post engagement data
• This data is stored in our database to track changes over time

Server Location: Your Instagram account is accessed from a remote server, not from your personal device. Instagram sees login activity from an IP address that differs from your usual location.

Automated Access: We use automated technology to interact with Instagram on your behalf. While we employ measures to ensure smooth operation, Instagram may detect this activity.

Persistent Sessions: Your login session remains active on our servers to enable real-time monitoring. This is equivalent to leaving Instagram logged in on a device you don't physically control.

We access and store:

• Your username and profile picture
• Your follower and following lists
• Follower/following counts over time
• Unfollower history
• Post engagement data
• Session cookies to maintain login

We do NOT:

• Store your password in plain text after login
• Access or read your direct messages
• Post, like, or comment on your behalf
• Share or sell your data to third parties

• You confirm you are the rightful owner of the Instagram account
• You will not use this service for harassment, stalking, or malicious purposes
• You understand this is an unofficial tool not affiliated with Instagram or Meta

You may disconnect your account at any time by logging out. Upon logout, we will end your active session and stop monitoring your account. You may request deletion of your stored data by contacting us.
